Big fire at construction site in Da Nang

On October 4, a fire broke out at the construction site of the Nguyen Kim Complex Building Center Project (46 Dien Bien Phu, Thanh Khe Ward, Da Nang City). Many workers had to be urgently evacuated.

Initial information, the fire occurred at 9:50 am the same day. Many residents said that the fire broke out on the first floor of the building, then spread quickly creating a column of smoke dozens of meters high.

At that time, the workers working at the construction site quickly moved outside.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force of Da Nang City Police immediately mobilized dozens of officers and soldiers, along with many specialized fire trucks to the scene to put out the fire.

At the scene, a column of black smoke tens of meters high covered the entire area with a strong pungent smell. Soldiers had to use gas masks to approach the fire area.

Authorities deployed multiple firefighting teams and sprayed water to cool the area, preventing the fire from spreading to neighboring areas. At the same time, they blocked off a section of Hai Phong Street to ensure traffic safety and assist in firefighting efforts.

By 11am the same day, the fire was basically under control. The cause of the incident is under investigation.
