On the morning of October 3rd, the Da Nang City National Assembly Delegation held a meeting with constituents in Hai Chau, Hoa Cuong, Son Tra, An Hai, and Thanh Khe wards in preparation for the Tenth Session of the 15th National Assembly.

Attending the meeting were: Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Standing Deputy Inspector General of the Government Inspectorate Nguyen Van Quang; Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee Pham Duc An; Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong; Deputy Head of the City's National Assembly Delegation Nguyen Duy Minh; former Deputy Head of the City's National Assembly Delegation Duong Van Phuoc; and Vice President of the City Women's Union Dang Thi Bao Trinh.
Also attending were: Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the City Party Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet; Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Council Tran Phuoc Son; and representatives of leaders from various departments, agencies, and localities.
Voters raised many concerns about people's lives.
During the meeting, many voters expressed concerns and made suggestions on "hot" issues such as: rising housing prices, personnel management at the two levels of local government, inadequacies in urban planning and infrastructure development, and policies supporting the fishing industry...

Voter Nguyen Thanh Ngoc (Thanh Khe ward) believes that the price of apartment units has now increased to 70 to 100 million VND/m2, making it difficult for people, especially those with low incomes, to afford them.
Voter Vu Tien Dung (Hai Chau ward) acknowledged that the commune and ward-level authorities are becoming increasingly closer to the people and more effective, but suggested that the city continue to train young officials and supplement personnel from the city level to the grassroots level to better serve the people; at the same time, a plan for arranging office space after the merger should be developed soon.
Voter Cao Van Minh (Son Tra ward) reflected on the differences in policies supporting fishermen between Da Nang and Quang Nam (formerly), suggesting a unified regulation to reassure fishermen and encourage them to continue fishing at sea. Other voters raised concerns about difficulties in issuing and renewing land use certificates in areas with suspended planning, significantly impacting people's lives.
Resolutely remove obstacles.
Responding to and explaining at the conference, Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee Pham Duc An shared and acknowledged the voters' opinions. Regarding the issue of housing prices, the city leader stated that this is a major, long-term issue that the State has paid attention to with solutions such as building social housing for low-income people.

However, controlling real estate prices is a complex issue that requires decisive action from the entire political system and thorough research by the National Assembly in the coming period.
Regarding the operation of the two-tiered local government system, the Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee affirmed Da Nang's determination to effectively implement, review, and allocate personnel based on practical needs, ensuring that the government is close to the people and provides quick and efficient service. "If there are delays in handling administrative procedures anywhere, it is either due to negligence or the incompetence of the officials. The city will monitor, supervise, and decisively address these issues," the Chairman of the City People's Committee emphasized.
Regarding office locations after the administrative unit reorganization, the city will make calculations to avoid fragmentation, saving costs while ensuring convenience for citizens. Recommendations concerning the fishermen's union, access to fishing trip data, personal income tax, traffic safety, urban infrastructure investment, etc., were also directly addressed by city leaders.
