Following the gala in Qatar, FIFA officially announced the voting results for The Best FIFA Men's Player award for the 2024/25 season. Unlike the Ballon d'Or organized by France Football, where only journalists participate in the voting, The Best FIFA Awards uses an equal distribution mechanism: national team captains, head coaches, the media, and fans, each accounting for 25% of the total votes.

In Spain, coach Luis de la Fuente and goalkeeper Unai Simon were the two representatives casting their votes. De la Fuente placed his trust in Pedri, ranking the midfielder first, followed by Lamine Yamal, and Kylian Mbappe third. Conversely, Unai Simon swapped places between Pedri and Yamal, and also drew attention by choosing full-back Nuno Mendes for his third vote.

In Argentina, captain Lionel Messi gave Dembele the highest number of votes. Mbappe came second, while Yamal was third. Coach Lionel Scaloni, however, gave a different ranking, placing Mbappe in first place, followed by Pedri and Yamal.

Portugal also made their own unique choices. Cristiano Ronaldo was unable to vote due to a suspension from the team's most recent match, leaving Bernardo Silva to take on the captaincy.
