FPT makes strategic investments with Sumitomo and SBI Holdings

FPT Technology Corporation announced a strategic partnership with Sumitomo Corporation and SBI Holdings Corporation - two leading financial and industrial business groups in the world (headquartered in Japan), to accelerate AI application through FPT AI Factory's product and service ecosystem, contributing to the development of sovereign AI in Japan.

According to the cooperation agreement, Sumitomo Corporation and SBI Holdings Corporation will invest 20% and 20% respectively in FPT Smart Cloud Japan Company (under FPT Corporation). This cooperation lays an important foundation in promoting the development and application of breakthrough AI solutions in all aspects of social life for organizations and businesses in Japan, realizing the goal of contributing to making Japan an AI nation.

Based on FPT's technological capabilities, the experience and extensive network of Sumitomo and SBI Holdings in many fields, the parties are committed to developing AI and Cloud companies in Japan, building a diverse product ecosystem that meets international standards, meeting the specific and increasingly high requirements in this market.
