FPT is stepping up the application of digital transformation in schools.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - Many AI applications have been effectively used byFPT staff and lecturers in organizing and managing self-learning. These experiences and best practices were shared at the FPT Educamp 2024 conference held on December 8th.

On December 8th, at FPT High School in Can Tho, the education division of FPT Group organized the FPT Educamp 2024 conference with the theme: "Organizing and Managing Self-Directed Learning" (Self-Directed Learning: Organization and Administration).

The presentations at FPT Educamp 2024 revolved around the theme "Organizing and Managing Self-Learning," along with practical approaches in educational environments at FPT and other educational institutions. Among these, the trend of applying AI and digital tools to improve the effectiveness of organizing and managing self-learning, and to increase students' enthusiasm for learning, emerged as a promising approach that has been effectively implemented at FPT.

Common AI applications that FPT faculty and staff have been using in teaching include GPT chat, AI-integrated chatbots, and AI-powered learning support platforms in university-level majors such as software engineering and graphic design, or specific subjects at the high school level such as English, History, Mathematics, STEM, and robotics.

In addition, FPT faculty and staff shared how to implement and optimize the effectiveness of several technology-based learning methods, such as social building on the Edunext platform, at FPT Educamp 2024.

The presentations delved into sharing the perspectives and research of individual authors or groups of authors through practical research and teaching on changes in teaching methods, learning approaches, and the organization of training units, from the smallest scale such as individual students, to classes, schools, and educational organizations with multiple levels and grades in the era of digital transformation.

The goal of the discussions is to present effective methods and experiences for exchange and sharing, and to find appropriate directions to promote the application of technology in organizing and managing self-learning, specifically in the FPT training environment and in general general and higher education.

Furthermore, from their roles as educators and training organizers, many FPT staff and lecturers offered fresh perspectives on enhancing students' enthusiasm for learning, thereby improving learning effectiveness and encouraging lifelong self-learning. Topics such as experiential learning where students actively explore knowledge, the impact of mental health on self-learning ability, and methods for achieving a balance between learning and life were analyzed and discussed by speakers at FPT Educamp.

FPT Educamp is an annual educational workshop for FPT faculty and staff.

The workshop also attracted several presentations from speakers who are officials and lecturers from schools in the Mekong Delta region, sharing practical experiences characteristic of training work in the locality.

The FPT Educamp 2024 conference featured two plenary session speakers: Dr. Le Truong Tung (Chairman of the Board of Directors of FPT University, FPT Group) and Prof. Dr. Huynh Van Son (Rector of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education). These speakers shared their experiences gained from managing educational institutions, focusing on strategies for organizing and managing self-learning and motivating students to learn.

As an open educational conference model, where speakers and participants have ample space for open academic sharing, FPT Educamp 2024 is expected to continue creating opportunities for learning, sharing research, and practical experience for FPT Group's education staff and lecturers. Furthermore, the conference contributes to the scientific research movement and the strong wave of digital transformation applications in education and training currently being implemented nationwide.
