G-Dragon faces criticism.

According to Sports Khan , G-Dragon recently made a move that is believed to be a public show of support for Kim Soo Hyun. Specifically, the Big Bang leader liked a post published by Kim Soo Hyun's management company, Gold Medalist.

In the post, Gold Medalist quoted a press release published on May 27th. The post stated that the police investigation revealed that the allegations made by the Garo Sero Institute YouTube channel against Kim Soo Hyun, and the evidence presented by the channel, were untrue. Gold Medalist also thanked the audience for their continued trust and patience with the actor throughout this time.

Information about G-Dragon liking the aforementioned post quickly spread on social media. Kim Soo Hyun's lawyer, Ko Sang Rok, also shared information about G-Dragon liking the Gold Medalist post on his Threads account. The lawyer further stated that the Big Bang leader had helped Kim Soo Hyun find meditation to stabilize his mental state during a turbulent period.

“At a time when negative information was constantly appearing last year, Kim Soo Hyun began meditating to find peace of mind. I understand that G-Dragon was the one who directly introduced him to a meditation center,” lawyer Ko Sang Rok wrote.

However, G-Dragon's move sparked mixed reactions on social media. Some netizens criticized the rapper, arguing that he was publicly siding with Kim Soo Hyun while the actor was still at the center of controversy.

This isn't the first time G-Dragon has drawn attention for actions related to Kim Soo Hyun. Back in March 2025, he also "liked" a post from foreign media mentioning Kim Soo Hyun's appearance on MBC's variety show Good Day.

G-Dragon and Kim Soo Hyun are also said to have a close relationship. In February 2025, Kim Soo Hyun attended G-Dragon's album launch party for Übermensch . In March of the same year, the actor participated in filming for the show Good Day, which brought together many artists close to the Big Bang leader.

In fact, G-Dragon is famous for his habit of frequently clicking "like" on Instagram. The artist has even been nicknamed "like bot" by netizens.
