Nearly 100 Belarusian artists are bringing opera and ballet to Vietnam.

For the first time, the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus will bring the finest opera and ballet from around the world to Vietnam on the evenings of May 7-8 at the Ho Guom Theatre in Hanoi.

The program "Bella Belarus: Masterpieces of Opera and Ballet," presented by the Belarusian National Opera and Ballet Theatre, is structured as a colorful "panel painting," bringing together the finest elements of European classical music .

The program took place on the evening of May 7-8 at the Ho Guom Theater, Hanoi.

The program includes famous excerpts from opera masterpieces with timeless arias such as: Nessun dorma (G. Puccini), La donna è mobile (G. Verdi), or Habanera (G. Bizet)... along with classic ballet excerpts such as Swan Lake and Don Quixote .

Besides works familiar to the public who appreciate classical art, the program also features performances with a distinct Belarusian flair, reflecting Eastern European influences, such as The Grey Legend, Iryna's aria (Dmitri Smolsky), Romance (Georgy Sviridov), O surdato nnammurato (music: Enrico Canniol, lyrics: Aniello Califano)... contributing to the diversity and depth of the art.

Founded on May 25, 1933, the Belarusian National Opera and Ballet Theatre is one of Belarus's oldest theatres, considered a symbol and source of pride for Belarusian national culture. For nearly a century, it has been the largest theatre in Belarus, focusing on opera and ballet.

“Bella Belarus: Masterpieces of Opera and Ballet,” featuring nearly 100 artists on the stage of the Ho Guom Theatre, promises to be a series of spectacular artistic evenings where audiences can appreciate the beauty of classical music in a dignified space with an acoustic structure that meets the requirements of various art forms, including opera and ballet.
