Nearly 71 billion VND to restore and embellish Trung Gia revolutionary resistance relic

The project aims to promote the cultural and historical values ​​of the relic to serve the needs of visiting, researching, studying, and learning about the history and revolutionary patriotic traditions of the nation, contributingto educating the tradition of drinking water and remembering its source for visitors from all over.

On April 22, 2025, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha signed Decision No. 2136/QD-UBND approving the Project to restore and embellish the Trung Gia revolutionary resistance relic, Trung Gia commune, Soc Son district.

Trung Gia resistance revolutionary relic is located along National Highway 3 in Xuan Son village, Trung Gia commune, Soc Son district.

This is where the Trung Gia Military Conference took place in July 1954, after the victory of the Dien Bien Phu campaign that resounded throughout the world and shook the world. This was a military negotiation between the delegation of the General Command of the Vietnam People's Army and the delegation of the General Command of the French forces to reach an agreement on a ceasefire, armistice, and the restoration of peace in Indochina . In 2002, the Relic was ranked as a city-level Relic.

At the relic site today, there are still many protected and preserved constructions. Among them are the reception house, the gallery of pictures and artifacts related to the Trung Gia Military Conference nearly 70 years ago.

The relic was once restored in 2017, however, up to now, many construction items at the Trung Gia revolutionary resistance relic have seriously degraded.

The project of Restoration and embellishment of the Trung Gia revolutionary resistance relic, Trung Gia commune, Soc Son district aims to overcome the state of degradation and damage of the Trung Gia revolutionary historical relic (Trung Gia commune); protect the relic from harmful factors, promote the cultural and historical values ​​of the relic to serve the needs of visiting, researching, studying, and learning about the history and revolutionary patriotism of the nation, contributing to educating the tradition of drinking water and remembering its source for visitors from all over.

The City People's Committee assigned the Soc Son District People's Committee to be the investor with a total investment of nearly 71 billion VND. The project belongs to Group B, a grade III civil work and will be implemented in 2024-2027, with a lifespan of over 50 years.

The investor is responsible before the law and the City People's Committee for the accuracy of the volume, budget; structural calculation results and the legality of the information and data shown in the project feasibility study report; the capacity of the organizations and individuals conducting the survey and project preparation.
