Meeting with press agencies and launching the Press Competition with the theme "For national security and peaceful life"

On the occasion of the 98th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2023) on June 8, General To Lam, Politburo member, Minister of Public Security chaired a meeting with press agencies and launched the online press competition with the theme "For national security and peaceful life" for the period 2023 - 2025. In our province, there were leaders of the Provincial Police, representatives of news agencies and newspapers in the province.

At the meeting, the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with the Vietnam Journalists Association and the Ministry of Information and Communications to launch the Journalism Competition with the theme "For National Security and Peaceful Life" for the period 2023-2025, towards the 100th Anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day and the 80th Anniversary of the People's Public Security Force (CAND).

Delegates attended the meeting and launched the Journalism Competition with the theme "For national security and peaceful life" at the bridge point of our province.

Speaking at the meeting, the Minister of Public Security acknowledged the role of the press, especially in coordinating propaganda about the People's Public Security Forces; at the same time, he commended and congratulated the efforts and achievements of press management agencies, news agencies, newspapers, and journalists in the past time. The Minister of Public Security hoped that press agencies inside and outside the People's Public Security Forces would strongly respond and actively participate in the Journalism Competition with the theme "For National Security and Peaceful Life" for the period 2023 - 2025; at the same time, he requested local police to create conditions for journalists to penetrate reality, grasp materials to build high-quality works.

On this occasion, Minister To Lam awarded the National Security Protection Medal to leaders of press agencies who have made many contributions to the cause of protecting National Security.
