Geely Panda Mini 2025 - extremely cheap electric car, only 104 million VND

The biggest advantage of the Geely Panda Mini 2025 electric car is its extremely cheap price, starting from only 29,900 Yuan (about 104 million VND).

First launched in the Chinese market in 2022, the super-cheap Geely Panda Mini small electric car has officially had an upgrade ahead of the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show taking place from April 23.

The compact four-seater urban electric vehicle, which competes directly with rivals such as the Wuling Hongguang Mini EV and Wuling Air EV, now features a cuter design along with some much-needed safety upgrades. The most notable change of the new Geely Panda Mini 2025 is at the front of the car.

Here, the car still retains the large round headlights, but they are now connected by a black strip running across the charging port. On this black strip is the “Geome” logo, which is an abbreviation of the Geometry brand, which has now been merged with Geely. The front bumper design has also been redesigned in a simpler style with rounded corners in the shape of pills.

This design also appears at the rear of the car, creating a similarity to the Chinese electric car model. In addition, there are 13-inch rims with new covers. The interior of the Geely Panda Mini 2025 is completely renewed with a more modern dashboard, door panels and two-spoke steering wheel. Next to it are pill-shaped air-conditioning vents similar to the exterior.

The car is still equipped with a 9.2-inch LCD digital clock, an 8-inch central touch screen, an optional rear camera and an octagonal gear selector knob located on the narrow center console. In terms of safety, the upgraded version of the Geely Panda Mini has been equipped with an additional airbag for the front passenger, replacing the old storage compartment on the dashboard.

However, this only brings the total number of airbags in the car to 2. In addition, the car is also equipped with an electronic balance system ESP and hill start assist. However, the Geely Panda Mini still lacks driving assistance systems such as automatic emergency braking.

The specifications of this low-cost electric car remain the same. Accordingly, the car uses a front electric motor, providing a maximum capacity of 27 horsepower (20 kW) and a maximum torque of 85 Nm.

Surprisingly, the car continues to use an LFP battery with a capacity of only 9.61 kWh, providing an operating range of only 120 km according to the very lenient CLTC standard in China.

The Endurance versions of the Geely Panda Mini have higher performance with a maximum output of 41 hp (30 kW) and a maximum torque of 110 Nm.

These versions are equipped with a larger battery with a capacity of 17.03 kWh. However, the operating range is also increased to a maximum of 200 km per charge. Despite the larger capacity, all versions of the Panda Mini are limited to a maximum speed of 100 km/h.

On the plus side, the larger battery version supports 22 kW DC fast charging, allowing charging from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes. In addition, the car also supports 3.3 kW AC slow charging, which shortens the charging time from 20% to 100% to about 5 hours with a 9.61 kWh battery and 4.5 hours with a 17.03 kWh battery.

The biggest advantage is the extremely cheap price of the Geely Panda Mini 2025 , starting from only 29,900 yuan (about 104 million VND). The large battery versions will cost from 49,900 - 53,900 yuan (about 174 - 188 million VND). New interior and safety features have also been applied to the Panda Knight and Panda Kart versions.
