World rubber prices are rising across the board.
In trading on December 19th, rubber prices on major markets showed a tendency to recover. This upward trend is attributed to the positive impact of crude oil prices, which affect the cost of synthetic rubber production, along with forecasts of potentially tightening natural supply in the near future.

Get the latest prices on major exchanges:
- In Japan (OSE): January 2026 rubber futures contracts rose 0.8% to 325 yen/kg. May 2026 contracts increased by more than 1%, reaching 330.5 yen/kg.
- In China (SHFE): March 2026 rubber futures prices rose 0.76%, to 15,325 yuan/tonne.
- In Singapore (SICOM): January 2026 rubber futures contracts are trading around 175.5 US cents/kg, up 0.5%.
- In Thailand: The price of rubber futures for January 2026 remained unchanged at 55 Baht/kg.
However, analysts believe that the strengthening yen has somewhat limited the potential for rubber price increases in the international market.
The domestic market remains stable.
Contrary to global trends, the purchase price of raw rubber in the domestic market on December 19th remained unchanged. Major companies maintained the same prices as the previous trading session.
The purchase prices at some specific businesses are as follows:
- Binh Long Rubber Company: The purchase price at the factory is 440 VND/TSC/kg, and at the production team it is 412 VND/TSC/kg. DRC 60% mixed latex remains at 14,000 VND/kg.
- Ba Ria Rubber Company: Liquid latex is priced at 415 VND/degree TSC/kg. DRC coagulated latex fluctuates around 13,900 VND/kg, while raw latex reaches 18,500 VND/kg.
Purchase prices at other companies such as MangYang and Phu Rieng also remained unchanged. Overall, the domestic rubber market is awaiting clearer signals from the global market. Experts believe that future price movements will continue to depend on fluctuations in energy prices, demand from industries, and supply situations in major producing countries.
