In Japan, April rubber futures rose 1%, or 2.9 yen, to 298.2 yen per kilogram this morning. In China, May rubber futures remained unchanged at 14,715 yuan per ton, unchanged from the previous session.
In Thailand, rubber futures for May delivery increased slightly by 0.5%, or 0.37 baht, to 73 baht/kg. On Singapore's SGX, TSR20 rubber futures for May 2025 delivery increased by 2.40 cents to 167.40 cents/kg; and for June 2025 delivery also increased slightly by 1.80 cents to 167.00 cents/kg.
Meanwhile, in the domestic market, rubber latex purchasing prices at large enterprises did not fluctuate much and remained stable compared to previous days.
Domestic rubber prices on April 22 continued to remain stable at many large enterprises.
At Binh Long Rubber Company, latex is being purchased at a price of 386 to 396 VND per TSC/kg. Mixed latex with 60% DRC is priced at 14,000 VND per kg. Meanwhile, Phu Rieng Rubber Company applies a price of 440 VND/TSC/kg for latex and 400 VND/DRC/kg for mixed latex.
Ba Ria Rubber Company classifies and purchases according to the degree of DRC. Type 1 latex (TSC from 30 and above) costs 452 VND/degree of TSC/kg, type 2 (TSC from 25 to under 30) is 447 VND, and type 3 (TSC from 20 to under 25) is 442 VND/degree of TSC/kg. Cup latex and coagulated latex with a DRC of 50% or more are being purchased at 18,000 VND/kg. If the DRC is from 45% to under 50%, the price is 16,700 VND/kg, and if it is in the range of 35-45%, it is 13,500 VND/kg.
At Mang Yang Rubber Company, the price of grade 1 latex is at 420 VND/TSC/kg, and grade 2 is 415 VND. Grade 1 mixed latex is priced at 430 VND/DRC/kg and grade 2 is 378 VND/DRC/kg. In general, the current price level is stable in the context of a slight upward trend in the world market.
