Rubber prices on July 9 reversed downwards in major markets due to fluctuations in oil prices. Domestically, rubber purchasing prices at large enterprises remained unchanged.
World rubber price
At the end of today's trading session, the price of rubber futures for July on the OSE - Japan decreased by 0.3% (1 Yen) to 310.9 Yen/kg.
In China, the price of rubber futures for July delivery on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) fell 1% (140 yuan) to 13,845 yuan/ton.
In Thailand, rubber futures for August delivery fell 0.7% (0.49 baht) to 72.62 baht/kg.
Rubber futures in Japan fell in line with oil prices. One of the main reasons was OPEC+'s surprise decision to announce a larger-than-expected production increase in August, causing Brent crude oil prices to drop 0.13% to $68.21/barrel at the time of recording.
Domestic rubber price
In the domestic market, rubber purchasing prices at large enterprises continued to remain stable. Specifically, Ba Ria Rubber Company purchased latex at 405 VND/TSC degree/kg (applied to TSC degrees from 25 to under 30); DRC coagulated latex (35 - 44%) at 13,500 VND/kg; raw latex remained unchanged at 17,200 - 18,500 VND/kg.
Mang Yang Rubber Company purchases latex at a price ranging from 397 to 401 VND/kg, depending on the type. Accordingly, grade 1 latex is at 401 VND/kg/kg; grade 2 latex is at 397 VND/kg/kg.
Grade 1 mixed latex is at 409 VND/DRC/kg; grade 2 mixed latex is at 359 VND/DRC/kg.
Similarly, the rubber price at Phu Rieng Company is currently at 385 VND/DRC, the latex purchase price fluctuates at 420 VND/TSC.
Binh Long Rubber Company's current purchase price of latex is 386 - 396 VND/TSC/kg; mixed latex with 60% DRC is priced at 14,000 VND/kg.
