iPhone 17 Pro Max prices continue to fall.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - According to a survey at several authorized Apple dealers in Vietnam, the iPhone 17 Pro Max is being offered at a price of 37.3 million VND for the 256GB version.

The price is down 500,000 VND compared to last month and 700,000 VND lower than the listed price. The highest-end version with 2TB capacity is priced at 63 million VND, a decrease of 1 million VND compared to before.

Please note that this price currently applies to two color versions: space orange and dark blue. Meanwhile, the silver version is almost unchanged in price.

The reason is believed to be a change in the purchasing trends of Vietnamese users for the iPhone 17 Pro Max. Initially, the "Space Orange" version was popular due to its novelty, leading to insufficient supply and causing shortages.

To date, the silver iPhone 17 Pro Max is being purchased more frequently. In fact, the price of this version has been inflated by several million dong in the "black market" due to a shortage of supply.

According to retailers, the price reduction is a promotional program implemented independently by each retailer. Therefore, the price of the iPhone 17 Pro Max will vary between retailers depending on the specific promotion.

After three months on the market, the iPhone 17 Pro Max has become the highest-selling iPhone for retailers. This model has also recorded outstanding growth compared to its predecessor.

In particular, the majority of users chose the iPhone 17 Pro Max with 256GB or 512GB of storage. This trend is almost identical to previous years.

This storage capacity is suitable for the majority of average users. The 1TB and 2TB versions are significantly more expensive, while the user experience is almost identical.

The high price is a major barrier preventing average users from accessing high-capacity versions like 1TB or 2TB. This also results in relatively modest sales for these versions.

According to a report from market research firm Counterpoint Research , the iPhone 17 Pro Max ranked 10th on the list of best-selling devices in the third quarter. Notably, this model only went on sale in the latter half of September. Experts say sales were driven by users looking to upgrade their devices.
