The price of straw mushrooms has increased.

(DONG THAP) The price of straw mushrooms in some localities in Dong Thap province is currently high. However, many straw mushroom farmers are still unhappy because the price of agricultural supplies and labor costs have also increased.

Currently, the price of straw mushrooms in Hoa Long and Phong Hoa communes ( Dong Thap province) has increased sharply from 25,000 - 30,000 VND/kg compared to last month. Specifically, grade 1 straw mushrooms are being purchased by traders directly from the fields at 80,000 - 85,000 VND/kg; grade 2 and 3 straw mushrooms are priced at 40,000 - 50,000 VND/kg.

With 2 acres of land for cultivating straw mushrooms, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Quang, residing in Phong Hoa commune, shared: “Currently, I have almost finished harvesting the straw mushroom crop. The demand for straw mushrooms is high, which has driven up the price, while the yield has decreased sharply…”.
