In Binh Phuoc, pepper is being purchased at 140,000 VND/kg; slightly higher by 500 VND/kg in Gia Lai, at 140,500 VND/kg. Other localities such as Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Dak Lak , and Dak Nong all maintain a price of 141,000 VND/kg. The average price of pepper today, November 26, 2024, is 140,700 VND/kg, an increase of 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, November 25, 2024.
Currently, pepper is one of the four main crops of Dak Nong province. Pepper accounts for a large proportion of the province's agricultural land use structure.

As for pesticides, on average, farmers use about 2-3 sprayings per year, with a total amount of approximately 40,000-50,000 liters per year. These are mainly fungicides used during the rainy season and insecticides to control sucking insects and pests.
According to the Dak Nong Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, to help people cultivate pepper effectively, the unit has coordinated with relevant departments and localities to promote training, dissemination of information, and provision of technical measures for plant care and disease prevention. In particular, the unit focuses on guiding farmers to use fertilizers and pesticides responsibly to protect the environment and improve product quality.

Forecast for tomorrow's world pepper prices
According to the International Pepper Association (IPC), the world pepper price update at the end of the most recent trading session showed the market remaining largely stable compared to the previous update, with the exception of the Indonesian market which saw an increase.
Specifically, IPC listed the price of Indonesian Lampung black pepper at US$6,624/ton, an increase of 2.46%; and the price of Muntok white pepper increased to US$9,139/ton, a further increase of 1.06%.
Brazilian ASTA 570 black pepper prices remained stable at US$6,000/ton. Malaysian ASTA black pepper prices were at US$8,400/ton; Malaysian ASTA white pepper prices reached US$10,500/ton.
Specifically, the price of Vietnamese black pepper remained stable at US$6,200/ton for the 500 g/l grade, and US$6,500/ton for the 550 g/l grade; the price of white pepper remained unchanged at US$9,400/ton.
According to forecasts, world pepper prices tomorrow, November 27, 2024, will continue to rise slightly in the Indonesian market, while remaining stable in other regions with no signs of increase or decrease.
