Domestic pepper prices updated on the morning of March 30, 2025

According to experts' forecasts, pepper prices are likely to continue to increase in the coming time due to demand from major markets and supply shortages.

With demand remaining steady and outstripping supply, pepper prices are likely to trend higher rather than lower. Current prices not only encourage farmers to increase their farming efforts but also create incentives to increase yields per hectare.

Domestic pepper prices are forecast to continue their upward trend as demand from major markets such as the US and EU remains high. Meanwhile, although output in key growing regions such as the Central Highlands is relatively stable, farmers are limiting sales to wait for better prices, causing a shortage of supply in the market, contributing to keeping prices high.

In the international market, supply from key producing countries such as Brazil and Indonesia is facing difficulties due to weather impacts, increasing pressure on global pepper prices.

Domestic export enterprises are also actively purchasing to ensure the supply of goods for foreign partners. If China increases imports again in the coming time, pepper prices may continue to increase.

In addition, the Vietnamese pepper industry is changing in a positive direction. Farmers are increasingly focusing on organic production, improving product quality and strengthening links in the value chain.
