Two giants in the pepper industry cooperate and sign a new strategic contract

In recent times, the International Pepper Community (IPC) and the American Spice Trade Association (ASTA) have increased cooperation and information exchange.

Specifically, on June 12, an online meeting took place between Ms. Marina Novira Anggraini - Executive Director of IPC and Ms. Laura Shumow - Executive Director of ASTA. This exchange reaffirmed the long-standing and strong partnership between the two organizations, aiming to promote fair trade, harmonize standards and develop a more sustainable global spice industry.

Earlier, on June 6, the International Organization of Spice Trade Associations (IOSTA) held a combined in-person and online meeting, bringing together key stakeholders in the global spice industry. The meeting was moderated by Laura Shumow and attended by Marina Novira Anggraini, IPC representative. The participants discussed pressing challenges such as tariff tensions and ongoing cooperation programs.

In the face of global trade uncertainty, IPC is committed to continuing to strengthen inter-organizational cooperation, promote standards harmonization, and foster sustainable growth for the benefit of spice-producing countries.
