DOJI Group listed the buying and selling prices of gold at 164.5 - 167.5 million VND/ounce, unchanged from the end of May 7th. The difference between the buying and selling price of gold at DOJI is currently 3 million VND/ounce.
Gold ring prices in Hanoi from various brands remain unchanged. The price of 9999 Hung Thinh Vuong gold rings at DOJI is listed at 164.5 - 167.5 million VND/ounce, the same buying and selling prices as at the end of the previous trading session.

Global gold prices rose on May 7th, fueled by optimism about a potential peace agreement between the US and Iran, which helped ease concerns about inflation and the prolonged maintenance of high interest rates.
Accordingly, at 0:53 AM on May 8th (Vietnam time), the spot gold price rose 0.3% to $4,700.98 per ounce, after having touched a two-week high earlier in the session. US gold futures also closed up 0.4% at $4,710.90 per ounce.
In a note, experts at investment bank TD Securities predicted that gold prices could surpass $5,200 per ounce once conflict and inflationary pressures subside. TD Securities believes that the Federal Reserve's shift in focus to maximizing employment, a weakening US dollar, and renewed demand from investors and central banks could restart the upward trend in gold prices.
The market is currently awaiting the US monthly jobs report, scheduled for May 8th (local time), to assess the Fed's next steps this year.
Silver prices continue to rise.
In the market for other precious metals, on the morning of May 8th, the price of Ancarat 999 silver bars (1 tael) at Ancarat Precious Metals Company was listed at 3 - 3.09 million VND/tael (buying and selling price), an increase of 70,000 VND/tael in both buying and selling prices compared to the previous trading session. The difference between the buying and selling price was 90,000 VND/tael.
Ancarat Precious Metals Company listed the price of Ancarat 999 silver bars (1kg) at 80 - 82.48 million VND/kg (buying and selling price), an increase of 1.71 million VND/kg in the buying price and an increase of 1.76 million VND/kg in the selling price compared to the closing price of the trading session on May 7th.

At the same time, the price of 999 silver bars (1 tael) at Phu Quy Gold, Silver and Gemstone Group was listed at 3.01 - 3.1 million VND/tael (buying and selling price), an increase of 60,000 VND/tael in both buying and selling prices compared to the previous trading session.

Sacombank-SBJ (Saigon Thuong Tin Bank Gold, Silver and Gemstone Company Limited) listed the price of silver bars at 2.98 - 3.07 million VND/ounce (buying price - selling price).
On the global market, the spot price of silver on the Kitco exchange was $79.77 per ounce, an increase of $1.95 per ounce compared to the previous trading session.
The global silver market is showing positive signs, while the US and Iran are sending signals indicating the possibility of moving closer to a peace agreement. At the same time, declining US bond yields have significantly contributed to the upward trend of silver, increasing its relative attractiveness compared to other investment channels.
