Gold prices fluctuated in the first trading session of the week.

In the first trading session of the week, the price of SJC gold and 9999 round rings increased and decreased in opposite directions.

At 4:30 p.m. on May 19, each tael of SJC gold bar was listed by Hai Duong branch of Bao Tin Manh Hai, PNJ, Doji at around 116.9 million VND/tael for buying and 119.3 million VND/tael for selling. Compared to the early morning trading price of the same day, an increase of 200,000 VND/tael for buying, the selling price is basically the same.

Compared to the closing price of the previous weekend (end of May 16), the buying price increased by VND 900,000/tael and the selling price increased by VND 350,000/tael.

At the same time, for 9999 round gold rings, the above establishments listed the transaction price at 111.5 - 112.95 million VND/tael for buying, 114 - 116.5 million VND/tael for selling, an average increase of 200,000 VND/tael for buying, an average decrease of 150,000 VND/tael for selling compared to the closing price of the previous weekend's trading session.

The Hai Hong gold brand, HJL, traded 9999 round gold rings at around 106 million VND/tael for buying and 107.3 million VND/tael for selling. This transaction price increased by 800,000 VND/tael for buying and 700,000 VND/tael for selling compared to noon of the same day. However, compared to the transaction price in the early morning, it decreased by 500,000 VND/tael for buying and 700,000 VND/tael for selling.

World gold price traded at 6:00 p.m. on May 19 at 3,244 USD/ounce, up 40 USD compared to the end of last week.
