On August 24, online travel platform Agoda released information about the cheapest flights that Vietnamese customers booked on the site in early August. Specifically, travelers have the opportunity to hunt for air tickets with starting prices from only 548,000 VND (about 23 USD).

Among the 10 Asia-Pacific markets with the most competitive domestic airfares, Vietnam currently ranks 7th. Notably, Thailand and the Philippines are the two countries holding the top positions with domestic airfares of only VND191,000 (about USD8).

Meanwhile, India has the cheapest intercontinental flight from Delhi to Dubai with a price of only 2.14 million VND (about 90 USD).

For flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Singapore, the lowest fare is only about 858,000 VND. Flight time is about 2 hours.

Long-haul international: Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) -> Melbourne (MEL), only about 4.62 million VND

Melbourne is about an 8.5-hour flight from Ho Chi Minh City. Agoda said that a customer recently bought a one-way ticket to Melbourne on Agoda for only VND4.62 million (about USD194).
