DNO - On the afternoon of April 25th, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade adjusted the retail prices of petroleum products. Notably, the price of RON95 gasoline decreased to below 25,000 VND/liter compared to the previous adjustment.

Specifically, in this round, the retail price of RON92 gasoline decreased by 307 VND/liter, to 23,919 VND/liter; RON95 gasoline decreased by 322 VND/liter, to 24,915 VND/liter.
Thus, domestic gasoline prices have uniformly reversed course and decreased ahead of the April 30th and May 1st holidays. Since the beginning of the year, the price of RON95 gasoline alone has increased 10 times and decreased 7 times.
Similarly, oil prices continued to be adjusted downwards during this price adjustment period. Specifically, diesel prices fell sharply by 730 VND, to 20,716 VND/liter; kerosene prices also decreased by 730 VND/liter, to 20,686 VND/liter. Meanwhile, mazut prices increased by 202 VND/kg, to 17,408 VND/kg.
During this price adjustment period, the inter-ministerial committee neither allocated funds nor used the Price Stabilization Fund for any gasoline or diesel products.
