The price of RON 95 gasoline was adjusted upwards to over 21,000 VND/liter in today's price adjustment (February 13). The prices of E5 RON 92 gasoline and diesel also increased.
On the afternoon of February 13th, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance announced changes to retail gasoline and diesel prices. Based on the directives of the two ministries, gasoline and diesel businesses simultaneously adjusted prices starting at 3 PM today.
Compared to a week ago, in today's price adjustment, the price of RON 95 gasoline (the most common type on the market) increased by 150 VND/liter, with the selling price being 21,070 VND/liter.
Similarly, the price of E5 gasoline has been adjusted upwards by 150 VND/liter, bringing the selling price to 20,590 VND/liter.
Meanwhile, the price of diesel fuel has been adjusted upwards by 20 VND/liter, with the selling price at 19,070 VND/liter.

In today's price adjustment, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance continued to neither draw from nor disburse funds from the Price Stabilization Fund for petroleum products.
In the most recent price adjustment (February 6th), the price of RON 95 gasoline was reduced by 80 VND/liter, to 20,920 VND/liter. Conversely, the price of E5 gasoline increased by 50 VND/liter, to 20,440 VND/liter.

Meanwhile, the price of diesel fuel has been adjusted down by 190 VND/liter, bringing the selling price to 19,050 VND/liter.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade is seeking feedback on a draft circular detailing certain provisions of the new decree on petroleum business. The draft decree has already been submitted to Government members for comments by the Government Office .
According to this draft, the Ministry of Industry and Trade will not publish world prices. Traders will base their calculations on the cost components of gasoline and diesel prices as outlined in the new decree on gasoline and diesel business and this circular.
After adjusting fuel prices, wholesale and retail fuel traders must publish the wholesale and retail prices within their distribution systems and notify the Ministry of Industry and Trade, provincial People's Committees, provincial Departments of Industry and Trade, and market management agencies where the traders have distribution systems.
