The event, held on May 28th within the framework of the Vietnam-Thailand Business Forum, contributed to opening a new phase of cooperation in economics, investment, tourism, and people-to-people connections between the two countries on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Thailand.
Expanding the next-generation Boeing fleet in Thailand.
Vietjet Thailand will receive its 10th Boeing 737-8 aircraft in May 2026, continuing its strategy of developing a modern fleet in Thailand. From its current fleet of 22 aircraft, the airline aims to expand to 50 Boeing 737-8s in the near future.

This is a significant step in Vietjet's fleet development program with its new generation of modern Boeing aircraft, contributing to the development of the Thai and regional aviation industry's fleet, while also creating a foundation for expanding its international flight network connecting Thailand with Vietnam, Japan, South Korea, China, India, and many other key markets in the Asia-Pacific region.
50 million visitors - a symbol connecting Vietnam and Thailand.
After more than a decade of development, Vietjet and Vietjet Thailand have transported a total of 360 million passengers across their entire network. The Vietnam-Thailand network alone has served 50 million passengers with 40 routes, nearly 1,000 flights per week, connecting 16 Vietnamese localities with 11 Thai localities.
Not only does Vietjet Thailand contribute to promoting tourism , trade, and investment, but it has also become a familiar part of modern life for the people of Thailand. The airline currently creates tens of thousands of direct and indirect jobs in the aviation, tourism, service, and logistics sectors, while contributing approximately 4.5 billion baht to the Thai budget between 2022 and 2025.
