At the training conference on bringing typical products and OCOP products to e-commerce platforms for enterprises, cooperatives, and production and business establishments in the province on May 29, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Ninh Binh said that from 2018 to present, the province's OCOP program has achieved many positive results.
Of these, 211 products were rated – including 73 products with 4 stars and 138 products with 3 stars. However, selling these products through e-commerce channels still faces many difficulties.
One of the major challenges is the limitation of human resources, especially the lack of experienced traders, leading to ineffective support for businesses and production facilities from e-commerce platforms and social networks.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Deputy Director of Ninh Binh Department of Industry and Trade.
Mr. Vu Minh Ngoc - representative of the Center for E-commerce and Digital Technology Development (Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy, Ministry of Industry and Trade - eComDX) emphasized that e-commerce today is no longer a trend but has become an essential factor in the context of strong digital transformation. If businesses do not quickly adapt to new trends such as Shoppertainment (sales combined with entertainment) or artificial intelligence (AI), they will be left behind.
"If Ninh Binh enterprises in particular and Vietnamese enterprises in general can adapt quickly and make the most of current opportunities, they will be able to conquer the global market," said Mr. Ngoc.
Experts from eComDX also encourage businesses in Ninh Binh to master basic knowledge of e-commerce such as account creation process, building booths, optimizing business strategies... to attract customers and increase revenue. These skills will be the foundation to help businesses not only survive but also expand to the international market.
Experts support students in creating accounts, setting up stores and posting products on e-commerce platforms.
During the training session, trainees were guided step by step through setting up sales accounts on platforms such as Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop. In addition, skills in creating sales images and videos using AI tools were also introduced to help businesses easily create content that attracts consumers.
Mr. Pham Quang The, representative of the Khanh Thanh Commune Safe Agricultural Products Production and Consumption Cooperative, shared that learning how to apply AI in analyzing customer data and optimizing online marketing strategies has helped me better understand the role of technology in business.
"We will apply this knowledge to improve our sales strategy, reach the right customers, and grow strongly in the future," said Mr. The.
eComDX experts also provide detailed instructions on building digital booths, applying AI in consumer behavior analysis, personalizing marketing strategies and optimizing sales processes. This is a solution to help businesses minimize costs, increase efficiency and expand sustainable consumption channels.
According to the representative of eComDX, in the coming time, the center will continue to promote training programs and develop e-commerce human resources in localities, especially in provinces that still face many difficulties in digital transformation such as Ninh Binh. The goal is to help businesses not only access the domestic market but also gradually reach out to the world through digital platforms.
