With the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2025 taking place from May 31st to July 12th, Da Nang's tourism industry is witnessing a spectacular surge in visitor numbers and tourism revenue.
It is estimated that accommodation establishments served more than 1.88 million visitors (a 26% increase compared to the 2024 fireworks season). Of these, nearly 770,000 were international visitors and nearly 1.11 million were domestic visitors.
Notably, during the 6 nights of the fireworks festival, the number of overnight visitors also recorded a remarkable increase - reaching approximately 504,000 (a 39% increase compared to the previous year's fireworks season).
On average, Da Nang's fireworks display attracts over 200,000 international tourists (a 46% increase) and over 300,000 domestic tourists (a 36% increase) each night.
Total revenue from accommodation, food and beverage services and travel during the festival is estimated at 5,600 billion VND - nearly double compared to the same period in 2024.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee, over the next five years, the fireworks festival will continue to play a driving role in promoting the development of Da Nang's cultural and tourism industries.
The Da Nang fireworks display began in 2008, initially held every two years. Due to the growing popularity of this tourist event, Da Nang decided to upgrade it and allow for greater social involvement.
For many years, the fireworks festival has been held alternately every summer, becoming a highlight that attracts visitors from all over.
