Speaking at the meeting, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man affirmed that the first Dien Hong Award Ceremony was a great success, leaving a resounding echo among Vietnamese journalists.
The first Dien Hong Award has created a strong and impressive influence in many aspects, attracting the attention of many press agencies in particular and the attention of the entire political system, voters and people nationwide on the position, role and activities of elected agencies, elected representatives and honoring journalists writing about the topic of elected agencies. Along with the Golden Hammer and Sickle Awards, the National Press Awards, the National Awards for Foreign Information, the first Dien Hong Award has initially built a "brand" in the press community, creating a premise for implementing the plan to organize the next Dien Hong Award.
On behalf of the National Assembly Standing Committee, the National Assembly Chairman and Vice Chairmen, the National Assembly Standing Vice Chairman acknowledged, highly appreciated and thanked the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Vietnam Journalists Association, the Hanoi People's Committee, Vietnam Television, Voice of Vietnam, Vietnam News Agency and relevant agencies and units, especially the sponsors, for accompanying and closely coordinating with the Organizing Committee and the National Assembly Office to successfully organize the tournament.
Steering Committee members have many comments to contribute.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly also requested that the Organizing Committee and the National Assembly Office absorb the comments and propose to the Steering Committee of the second Dien Hong Award in 2024; promptly complete and promulgate the Organization Plan and Regulations of the second Dien Hong Award; promptly develop and promulgate a propaganda plan for the second Dien Hong Award; and pay more attention to the quality of awarded works.
It is necessary to organize training courses for central and local press reporters on the organization and operation of elected agencies and elected representatives to have more quality, vivid, new, and multi-perspective works to participate in the tournament; strengthen and promote effective coordination between the subjects in the Organizing Committee of the tournament, between the Organizing Committee of the tournament and related units and organizations to accompany and ensure resources to successfully organize the tournament according to the direction of the Steering Committee and the Organizing Committee of the second Dien Hong Tournament.
Agreeing with the summary report of the first Dien Hong Award, the members of the Steering Committee said that the first Dien Hong Award in 2023 was a great success, attracting a lot of attention from all walks of life and creating a wide spread of influence on the activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils.

The meeting was held to evaluate, summarize, and draw experience from the organization of the first Dien Hong Award and better prepare for the organization of the second Dien Hong Award, scheduled to take place in the first week of January 2024, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the first general election to elect the Vietnamese National Assembly.
