35,000 people participated in the race organized by Vinschool and donated more than 3.2 billion VND to build classrooms for children in disadvantaged areas.
Launched on April 3 and lasting for 3 weeks, Edurun 2023 is held at 49 campuses of the Vinschool education system.

"The race aims to spread the message 'Run for health, run for education, run for the community'. Every step contributes to narrowing the educational gap, helping poor students in remote areas to study in a more spacious school," said a representative of Vinschool.

Ms. Truong Thi Hai Ly - Vice Principal of Vinschool Smart City Primary, Secondary and High School expressed her pride when seeing Vinschool parents and students enthusiastically participating in meaningful volunteer sports activities such as Edurun. Through that, she will work closely with the school to support children in remote areas to have more spacious schools.
The large-scale Edurun 2023 Offline Running Day was held for the first time at Vinschool Star City - Thanh Hoa. The program attracted thousands of athletes, including students, families, relatives, Vinschool staff and residents of Vinhomes Star City urban area. Representatives of the Dong A Thanh Hoa Football Club's leadership and famous Thanh players Hoang Dinh Tung, Le Quoc Phuong and Nguyen Trong Hung also attended the event.
Ms. Hoang Thi Thuy - parent of a student at Vinschool Star City Primary School - said that her family of four members were excited to participate in the Edurun 2023 race because running is the sport her whole family loves.
"I am very happy to have participated in a great program that connects children, parents and schools, and is also a practical action for Vinschool students to be aware of sharing and spreading kindness," said Ms. Thuy.
Mr. Hoang Van Hai - parent of a student at Vinschool Star City Primary School, who won first prize in the 0.5km distance, received an award from sponsor GeneStory after running with his daughter. He said that the event gave his family the opportunity to bond more and take better care of their health.
"For me, this is also an opportunity for me to express myself and show that I can overcome all difficulties," said Mr. Hai.
In addition, the "Edurun Moments" photo contest on Vinschool's Facebook page also attracted a large number of interested participants during the race. The organizers presented gifts from sponsors VinFast, GeneStory and VinWonders to 20 individuals who won the inspirational prize - the authors of photos that conveyed meaningful messages about the race.

After 7 years of implementation, the Edurun (Run For Education) race has built up its reputation and received great attention and support from the community for a meaningful volunteer sports activity, attracting tens of thousands of participants each year, successfully raising a total of 15.6 billion VND.
Drawing from the Edurun fund each year, by 2022, Vinschool will completely build 4 new kindergartens and 17 classrooms along with auxiliary works for 5 general schools in 4 remote provinces across the country such as Son La, Dien Bien, Quang Binh and Quang Tri, stabilizing study places for thousands of students.
Currently, Vinschool continues to coordinate with parents to find disadvantaged locations that need support, build spacious schools, and narrow the educational gap for poor children.
The Edurun race has attracted enthusiastic participation from the community with many forms of fundraising: donations through purchasing Edurun 2023 shirts, online donations through opening a running account on the 84Race platform and direct donations at school facilities.
162,723 km is the total number of kilometers achieved on the 84Race online running platform. All proceeds from the Edurun2023 charity fund will be used by Vinschool for charity activities to build new and repair schools. Details of the charity activities will be announced on the Vinschool website and Fanpage in the near future.
