Rescue worker trapped in cement mixer

Dong Nai While working, a male worker got his leg stuck in a cement mixer. He was rescued after nearly 2 hours on the morning of November 5.

Late last night, Mr. Tran Quang Trung, 37 years old, while working at a factory in Phuoc Tan ward, Bien Hoa city, unfortunately got his left foot stuck in a cement mixer.

Workers at the factory immediately turned off the power and tried to pull the victim's leg out. However, by this time the leg was stuck more than 40 cm deep inside the machine. Unable to get the victim out of the machine, the factory staff called the police for help.

Dong Nai Province Police Department mobilized 8 officers and soldiers along with vehicles to rescue. The rescue team used specialized equipment to disassemble the cement mixer and gradually pulled Mr. Trung's legs out.

After nearly 2 hours of rescue, at dawn this morning the victim was brought out and taken to the emergency room in a conscious state.
