Mr. Dinh Tan Lac, Vice Chairman of the Commune People's Committee, said: “From the beginning of the year, the Commune People's Committee has developed a plan for administrative reform, receiving citizens and businesses; and continuing to improve the efficiency of using online public services in the commune. The Commune People's Committee assigns officials and civil servants in charge of specific fields to regularly monitor administrative procedures in the area, promptly posting them publicly so that citizens and businesses can easily track and search them. In addition, the Commune People's Committee effectively carries out propaganda work on the commune's electronic information website and the commune radio station to inform people for convenient work. Through the implementation of this work, the Reception and Results Delivery Department has performed well in receiving citizens during the process of resolving administrative procedures.”
The application of information technology in handling professional work has been given attention and implemented by professional officials and civil servants at the commune level. As a result, 99% of officials and civil servants use the iOffice software. The use of digital signatures and ISO software is implemented in accordance with regulations at the unit. A total of 124 administrative procedures at levels 3 and 4 have been provided. Handling administrative procedures online facilitates both officials and citizens.
Ms. Ho Mong Mo, a civil servant in the Justice and Civil Registry department of the commune, shared: “Currently, the application of electronic document processing offers many conveniences and faster processing compared to manual methods. When citizens submit documents, officials access the software to receive them, then present them to the leader for signing and return the results to the citizens. This helps citizens and businesses save time, effort, and travel costs.”
Mr. Nguyen Van Sau, from Rach Ruong A hamlet, Khanh Loc commune , commented: “The staff at the one-stop service center are very enthusiastic, dedicated, and provide excellent support to the people. Previously, to conduct any transaction, people had to go back and forth, the procedures were cumbersome, they had to go to one place to sign, then another place to get the results… Now, people only need to go to the commune's one-stop service center, submit their documents, and they get the results. It's very simple and convenient.”
In addition, surveillance cameras have been installed at the Commune's Reception and Results Delivery Department, facilitating the inspection and monitoring of the activities and service style of the civil servants there. Since the beginning of the year, the Commune People's Committee has not received any complaints or petitions from individuals or organizations regarding administrative procedures.
“In the coming time, the People's Committee of the commune will continue to effectively implement the training and development of cadres and civil servants according to the plan approved by the district. It will rectify administrative discipline and order, public service ethics in conjunction with following the ideology, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh , government-led mass mobilization work, and the implementation of grassroots democracy regulations. It will also promote the application of information technology in the activities of state administrative agencies: applying iOffice software, implementing digital signatures, one-stop shop software, and integrated one-stop shop software,” Mr. Dinh Tan Lac added.
