Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Pham Tat Thang emphasized that the National Award for Foreign Information, after 10 seasons, has affirmed its brand as a prestigious Award with many unique and distinctive features.
The uniqueness of the Award is reflected in the diversity and richness of the award categories; in the participants from domestic to foreign, from cadres, party members to people, international friends, from professionals, semi-professionals to amateurs. The Foreign Information Award has no limits for innovation and creativity.
The Award Council welcomes all products/works from all regions of the country, from all countries, all individuals in many different forms and languages, but with one thing in common: love for Vietnam in the past, present and future.

According to Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Pham Tat Thang, 10 years of organizing the Award are also 10 years in which we have witnessed the country's constant changes and development. The country's foundation, potential, position and prestige have been increasingly enhanced in the international arena. It can be said that the image of the country, people, history, cultural features, typical images of Vietnam have been and are gaining great attention and following from public opinion, appearing with high frequency on prestigious international media channels, on the Internet, especially in recent years.
2025 is a very special year for Vietnam. The Awards Council hopes that the 11th Foreign Information Award will be an information channel to convey the message of national development to international friends; continue to be an achievement in effectively implementing Conclusion No. 57-KL/TW of the Politburo in practice, attracting strong public attention and having a wide spread at home and abroad, especially with the greater participation of young people and KOLs (people with influence on social networks). This is one of the key activities in the 2025 plan of the Steering Committee for Foreign Information.

Speaking at the ceremony, Journalist Do Duc Hoang, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Television, said that immediately after the Launching Ceremony ends, Vietnam Television will direct relevant units to produce promotional trailers, introduce how to participate in the Award and will arrange to broadcast with high frequency on channels and digital platforms, helping the Award to spread more and more widely in society, contributing to enhancing the position of foreign information work in the current context.

It is the inspiration for the development and future of the country, the inspiration for the Vietnamese boat overcoming storms, the inspiration for Vietnamese culture and people, and the inspiration for creativity so that the country can be increasingly promoted more strongly in the international arena," Deputy Minister Le Hai Binh expressed.

Through 10 editions, the National Award for External Information has affirmed its role as an activity of profound political and social significance, contributing to honoring and encouraging groups and individuals to actively participate in external information work. Through diverse and creative works and products, the Award has become an important bridge to bring the history, traditions, images of the country, people, culture of Vietnam and the achievements of the renovation process under the leadership of the Party to international friends; at the same time, spreading Vietnam's practical contributions to the cultural and intellectual treasure of humanity.
With its creativity, influence and depth of content, the Award has truly become a prestigious forum with great appeal and influence, contributing to strongly arousing national pride, consolidating the great national unity bloc and conveying to the world the message of a peaceful, developed and friendly Vietnam, along with the unique values and wisdom of the Vietnamese people in the new era.

In 2025, the National Award for Foreign Information will enter its 11th season. The Award will continue to be innovated and created, in line with the flow of the times, directly implementing Conclusion No. 57-KL/TW, dated June 15, 2023 of the Politburo on continuing to improve the quality and effectiveness of foreign information work in the new situation; effectively contributing to the implementation of Resolution 59-NQ/TW, dated January 24, 2025 of the Politburo on "International integration in the new situation" - one of the four breakthrough pillars to bring the country firmly into a new era of development - the era of the Vietnamese people's rise, for peace, independence, democracy, wealth, prosperity, civilization, happiness, and steady progress towards socialism. At the same time, it vividly reflects the development achievements and results of implementing the goals and tasks set forth in the Resolution of the 13th National Congress, towards the 14th National Party Congress.
The 11th Foreign Information Award considers and awards foreign information works/products in the following categories: Vietnamese Newspaper/Magazine; Foreign language Newspaper/Magazine; Radio; Television; Books; Photos; Digital - multimedia products; Initiatives and products with foreign information value.

Works/products considered for the Award in the year are works/products posted on mass media; published, released, announced, created, applied domestically and internationally, during the period from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025. For works/products released before or after the above time, 2/3 of the duration and quantity of works/products must be published within the prescribed time.
