Dak Lak Police Director resigns

(PLVN) - On June 3, Dak Lak Provincial Police held a conference to announce the Minister of Public Security's Decision on retirement benefits for Major General Le Vinh Quy, Director of the Provincial Police, and to announce the Decision on assigning Colonel Le Huu Tuan, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, to take charge of the unit.

On May 26, 2025, the Minister of Public Security signed a decision to allow Major General Le Vinh Quy, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Director of Dak Lak Provincial Police, to retire from work and enjoy retirement benefits from June 1, 2025.

Major General Le Vinh Quy (born 1967, hometown Quang Nam province). He has a master's degree in People's Police; Advanced degree in Political Theory.

Major General Le Vinh Quy served as Deputy Director of Dak Nong Provincial Police (from 2015 - 2019).

From January 2020 to February 2021, Major General Le Vinh Quy was Director of Lam Dong Provincial Police.

From February 2021 to present, he is a member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Party Secretary, and Director of Dak Lak Provincial Police.

During his working career, Major General Le Vinh Quy was awarded many Certificates of Merit: First Class Military Exploit Medal by the President; Certificate of Merit by the Prime Minister; 10 Certificates of Merit by the Minister of Public Security and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; 1 Certificate of Merit by the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association; 2 times awarded the title "Emulation Fighter of the entire People's Public Security Force".

At the conference, the representative of Dak Lak Provincial Police also announced the Decision of the Minister of Public Security on assigning Colonel Le Huu Tuan, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, to be in charge of the unit until the position of Director of Dak Lak Provincial Police is completed.

Colonel Le Huu Tuan, born in 1980, is from Ha Tinh province. He graduated from the People's Security University in 2004 and then worked at the Dak Lak Provincial Police.

Colonel Le Huu Tuan has held many positions such as: Deputy Head of Personnel Organization Department, Head of Krong Pak District Police, Head of Logistics Department, Head of Personnel Organization Department. Currently, Colonel Le Huu Tuan holds the position of Deputy Director of Dak Lak Provincial Police.

Previously, the Minister of Public Security also signed a decision on retirement and pension benefits for two Deputy Directors of Dak Lak Provincial Police, namely Major General Nguyen Thi Xuan and Colonel Nguyen Van Bon./.
