Cultural Exchange - Friendship 2025: Connecting communities, spreading the image of a friendly Vietnam

On June 15, at Suoi Tien Cultural Tourism Area (HCMC), the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations (HCMC) organized the Cultural - Friendship Exchange Program 2025.

The event was attended by Philippine Ambassador to Vietnam Meynardo Los Banos Montealegre, along with Consuls General, Deputy Consuls General and representatives of Consulates General of Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Indonesia, Korea, UK, Russia, Cuba...

The program introduces more than 20 unique art performances, imbued with traditional cultural identities of many countries, contributing to creating a lively and colorful exchange space.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Ho Xuan Lam, Vice President - General Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations, said: the program is within the framework of people-to-people foreign cooperation for the period 2023-2025 between this unit and Suoi Tien Cultural Tourism Area, aiming to enhance understanding and connection between the Vietnamese people and international friends, thereby contributing to spreading the image of the country.

He affirmed that culture and arts are an important bridge in people-to-people diplomacy, not only expressing the unique identity of each nation but also helping to strengthen solidarity and mutual understanding between countries.

He believes that the program will contribute to conveying a positive message about a friendly and open Vietnam; at the same time, create opportunities for exchange and learning for the foreign community living and working in Ho Chi Minh City, contributing to promoting peace , cooperation and development.
