On August 8, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training coordinated with Binh Minh Technology Joint Stock Company to organize the closing ceremony of the artificial intelligence (AI) training course for teachers of colleges and secondary schools in the city.
The training course was held from June 19 to July 10, 2025, with 89 trainees who are teachers from 6 schools: Hanoi College of Economics - Engineering and Technology; Hanoi College of Information Technology; Hanoi College of Mechanical Engineering 1; Hanoi College of Transport and Public Works; Hanoi College of Electronics - Refrigeration; Hanoi College of Industry.
The training course was divided into 2 classes. After the course, each class produced their “first products”, including a model to identify accessories such as masks, glasses, hats, which are applied to security monitoring in public areas; a model to detect and classify dangerous weapons such as guns, knives, sticks, etc. to detect early security threats in sensitive areas such as airports, schools, shopping malls, etc. In which, the model project to identify accessories was selected as a typical project, and was commended at the closing ceremony.
The course was successfully organized and seriously evaluated with 56 students classified as good, good and excellent (including 3 students classified as excellent), 32 students classified as passing, 1 student did not complete the course. Notably, 70% of the students had practical experience and proposed to apply it to teaching.
Representing the students at the closing ceremony, student Nguyen Van An, Deputy Head of the Department of Electricity - Electronics - Information Technology, Hanoi Vocational College of Transport and Public Works shared: The training course for teachers in artificial intelligence has brought to the teaching staff of colleges and intermediate schools in the city a lot of new knowledge, practical skills and modern perspectives on AI applications in teaching and management.
At first, they were still confused and worried, but through each learning module combining theory and practice, the students increasingly realized the importance and high applicability of AI in schools. The graduation ceremony did not end the learning journey, but started a new responsibility: Applying, spreading, and integrating AI into the training program.
Praising the efforts of the trainees, Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training Tran The Cuong emphasized that in order to continue to promote the effectiveness of the training course and promote the application of AI in vocational education , the trainees need to promote their role as "technology leaders", actively apply the acquired knowledge and skills to teaching, develop lectures and integrated AI modules in the training program; actively share and transfer the learned content to colleagues, spread the spirit of innovation and creativity in schools.
Schools need to proactively develop specific plans to apply AI in teaching and management, prioritize integrating AI modules into formal training programs; develop AI majors and occupations at intermediate and college levels, and register for vocational education activities to organize enrollment and training from the 2025-2026 school year.
Schools also need to continue to create conditions for teachers to study and improve their technological capacity to take on the role of pioneers in the movement "The whole country competes in innovation and digital transformation" at the unit.
Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training Tran The Cuong also expressed his hope that Binh Minh Technology Joint Stock Company will continue to accompany the Department in building and developing AI training and fostering programs and supporting schools in implementing AI application projects...
