Pickleball players are free to 'roam' as they please.

The 2024 VINFAST Cup Youth Pickleball Tournament will be open to both Vietnamese and foreign athletes.

In its inaugural edition, the VINFAST Cup 2024 Youth Pickleball Tournament aims to create the fairest and most open playing field possible, allowing a wide range of athletes of all ages and skill levels to compete against equally matched opponents.

With that goal in mind, under the guidance of the expert council, the 2024 VINFAST Cup Youth Pickleball Tournament has decided to organize Newbie categories (men's doubles, women's doubles, mixed doubles) for complete beginners who have never participated in any tournaments, and who are not professional tennis or pickleball athletes or coaches, with a list of invited guests designated by the Organizing Committee.

Another interesting feature is the inclusion of a Children's category, a stage dedicated to young tennis players born after January 1, 2011, promising to bring a cheerful and lively atmosphere to the tournament, which will be held on July 6-7, 2024, at Lan Anh Club (291 Cach Mang Thang Tam Street, Ward 12, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City).

At the same time, the Organizing Committee decided to open the Super Cup, which will be a stage for top Vietnamese tennis players to compete. Notable contenders include Ly Minh Triet, Truong Minh Hien, Trinh Linh Giang, Le Quoc Khanh, Le Ba Thanh Xuan, Vo Minh Luan… who regularly win medals in domestic and international tournaments.

The tournament clearly separates the amateur categories for beginners, children, and elite athletes. The Open category will bring together general players. No longer facing the worry of encountering a formidable opponent, the Open tournament promises to deliver the most surprises, with the participation of numerous players from Ho Chi Minh City and surrounding provinces.

The deadline for registration is July 2nd, 2024. All athletes competing in the tournament will have their photos sponsored by Vietnam Sport Photo. There are no entry fees for the Men's Doubles Newbie, Women's Doubles Newbie, Mixed Doubles Newbie, and Children's categories (under 13 years old, born after January 1st, 2011).

Registration fee for Doubles Open and Super Cup: 1,000,000 VND (one million Vietnamese Dong); Registration fee for Team events: 4,000,000 VND (four million Vietnamese Dong). The deadline for registration is July 2nd, 2024. The Organizing Committee will prioritize athletes/teams who register early, meet the eligibility criteria, and pay the registration fee early.
