On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2025), on the afternoon of April 16, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee coordinated with the family of comrade Do Ngoc Quan, former Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to organize a program to launch the book "Do Ngoc Quan - A staunch communist". Attending the program were comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and relatives of comrade Do Ngoc Quan.

Comrade Do Ngoc Quan was born in 1891 in Trinh Nhat village, An Ninh commune (Tien Hai). On April 18, 1925, he was admitted to the Revolutionary Youth Association in Trinh Pho village (Kien Xuong), and was one of the first seven communist party members of Thai Binh province. From 1925 to 1960, he continuously participated in revolutionary activities and made many important contributions to the revolutionary movement in Tien Hai district. In 1939, he was captured by the enemy and exiled to Son La prison for 5 years. Despite being brutally tortured, he still maintained his communist spirit and was absolutely loyal to the Party and the people. In 1945, after being released from prison, he returned to participate in the struggle for power in Kien Xuong district. On November 7, 1955, he was elected Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee. During his career, he has always been an exemplary party member and a leader who maintains the qualities of "diligence - thrift - integrity - uprightness".

The memoir of comrade Do Ngoc Quan was kept by his family and transferred to journalist Dieu An to build and compile into a book to pay tribute to the example of a loyal communist who devoted his whole life to the country and the people. The book is a valuable document, contributing to supplementing materials for the activities of the Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Binh province and educating the tradition for the next generation.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Comrade Vu Thanh Van, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee affirmed: Comrade Do Ngoc Quan's contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party, the nation and Thai Binh province are extremely great and outstanding, contributing to helping the Party Committee and people of the province successfully complete the 5-year plan (1955 - 1960). The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee always respects, remembers and deeply appreciates his contributions to the cause of building the great national unity bloc. He suggested that each front cadre actively study and follow the example of Comrade Do Ngoc Quan. The book is a valuable source of material, with profound humanistic values, helping cadres, party members and people to research, study and apply it to work and production.
