VHO- The program "Vietnam Day in Japan 2023" took place in Fukuoka, Japan, organized by the Department of Culture and UNESCO, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam in coordination with the Consulate General of Vietnam in Fukuoka, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan.


"Vietnam Day in Japan 2023" attracts a large number of people from the land of cherry blossoms, tourists and the Vietnamese community in Japan. With a meticulously designed and decorated Cultural Space, the space recreates very familiar images imbued with the culture of the Northern Delta region. Lacquer paintings by artist Luong Minh Hoa with delicate colors, the artist's paintings have left many impressions on visitors. The interesting thing at the Cultural Space is that visitors can experience how to make Vietnamese tea and enjoy the flavor of a 300-year-old tea tree guided by artisan Dao Duc Hieu from Viet Nam Teashop tea company. They can make to he figurines by artisan Dang Dinh Thuong, experience making jewelry by themselves and visitors can also try on ancient costumes to take photos guided by designer Tran Quoc Anh, fashion designer of Van Thien Y company. In addition, visitors can also enjoy Pho Thin Bo Ho corner.

In addition, an art program "The Fragrance of Vietnam", throughout the opera program, tells famous historical stories such as the love story of Princess Ngoc Hoa and merchant Araki Sorato or the beautiful friendship between patriotic scholar Phan Boi Chau and doctor Asaba Sakitaro... The program brought to Fukuoka a space that converges the cultural quintessence of the Vietnamese people, the local audience had many new cultural experiences. "Vietnam Day in Japan 2023" is a meaningful cultural diplomacy activity, contributing to deepening the 50-year friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Japan, at the same time "Vietnam Day" is also a meaningful gift for Vietnamese people living far from home, this is the pride of the Vietnamese community in the Kyushu region with friends from the land of cherry blossoms, international friends living and studying in Japan.
