According to the Hue Tourism Promotion Information Center, in 2024, the Department of Tourism of Thua Thien Hue will assume the role of cluster leader to link tourism development in 5 provinces and cities of "Wonderful Heritage Land" Quang Nam - Da Nang - Thua Thien Hue - Quang Tri - Quang Binh .

Thua Thien Hue - Da Nang - Quang Nam is located on the Central Heritage Road, with 9 world cultural heritages honored by UNESCO as well as possessing destinations, tourism services and cultural, culinary, adventure sports experiences... creating a diverse and rich tourism ecosystem.

During the program held on this occasion, Thua Thien Hue - Da Nang - Quang Nam coordinated to organize many activities to promote and develop local tourism, including: Introducing destinations, events, festivals, tourism products and services, especially tourism stimulus programs; Screening films about images of destinations, culture, tourism, OCOP products; B2B space for tourism businesses to exchange, introduce information, offer tourism products and services and sign cooperation agreements with partners.

Accompanying the 3 provinces and cities in the program introducing Thua Thien Hue - Da Nang - Quang Nam tourism in Taipei City, Taiwan (China) were also 29 tourism businesses. The businesses directly introduced to Taiwanese partners new tourism products, suitable to the tastes and needs of Taiwanese tourists.

This helps partners have a comprehensive and updated view of the new services and experiences that tourists can expect when coming to Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang and Quang Nam. At the same time, businesses also launch many attractive promotional programs to give away preferential vouchers for tourists from Taiwan (China).

According to Mr. Vu Tien Dung, Head of the Vietnam Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei (China), in the first 5 months of 2024 alone, Vietnam welcomed nearly 530,000 Taiwanese visitors, an increase of 110.1% over the same period last year, of which about 45% of visitors came to Central tourist destinations such as Hue, Hoi An, Da Nang... Meanwhile, the number of Vietnamese tourists choosing Taiwan (China) as their favorite tourist destination is also increasing.

At the same time, promoting the brand "Amazing Central Vietnam Heritage" to affirm the position of Central Vietnam as a unique cultural, historical and natural tourist destination on the international tourism map.
