Introducing Vietnam's image closer to the Greek public and businesses

The Vietnamese Embassy in Greece organized a Vietnamese booth at the 89th Thessaloniki International Trade Exhibition (TIF) taking place from September 6-14 in Thessaloniki, Greece.

With the leading scale in the Balkan region, the 89th Thessaloniki International Trade Exhibition attracted the participation of 1,100 units including leading enterprises in Greece, the Balkan region and 19 countries around the world .

The Vietnam Corner at the Thessaloniki International Trade Exhibition includes the booth of the Vietnamese Embassy and the booths of 3 Vietnamese enterprises with diverse products, from traditional dishes, traditional handicrafts to dried fruits, dried goods, tea, coffee...

In particular, the colorful Vietnamese space at the booth attracted the attention of visitors, including the Greek Deputy Minister of Economic and Development, Ambassadors of Bangladesh and Pakistan, Assistant and Financial Advisor of the Indian Ministry of Textiles, Greek businesses and business associations and a large number of Greek people.

With tens of thousands of visitors coming to the Exhibition every day, this is an opportunity to introduce and bring the image of Vietnam closer to the public, Greek businesses, the Balkan region and the world.

On this occasion, the Vietnamese Embassy in Greece also organized an introduction and connection between Vietnamese enterprises participating in the Exhibition and Greek partners, especially for dried fruit products and labor market supply.

Within the framework of the Exhibition, Vietnamese Ambassador to Greece Pham Thi Thu Huong attended the opening speech of the 89th Thessaloniki International Trade Exhibition (TIF) by Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. This was one of the important policy-oriented speeches, considered a special highlight of the Exhibition, attracting the attention of a large number of local business communities and politicians.

The Vietnamese Ambassador to Greece had a meeting with Greek Vice President Konstantinos Chatzidakis, introducing Vietnam's booth at the Exhibition, as well as the good friendship and cooperation between the two countries, especially on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Ambassador Pham Thi Thu Huong also met and discussed with the President of the Greek Industry Federation in Thessaloniki, Ms. Koukia A. Saranti, to learn about the needs and possibilities of connecting businesses of the two sides, especially in the fields of construction materials and agricultural products. The two sides agreed to organize direct and online meetings between businesses of the two countries in the near future.
