Google Translate's new feature is now available on Android for English, Spanish, and Hindi (Indian). However, there is no information yet on when this feature will be expanded to other regions or available on iOS.
Statistics show that about one-third of Google Translate mobile users use the app to practice speaking and listening to real conversations, so the pronunciation practice feature is really useful.
Simple to use
The pronunciation practice feature works quite simply. After translation is complete, a "Practice" button will appear at the bottom of the app. When this button is pressed, users will have two options: Listen to hear native speaker pronunciation and Pronounce to practice.

Google Translate's pronunciation practice feature has officially been rolled out.

Users need to say the translated phrase, and the AI (artificial intelligence) will listen and analyze the speech in real time before providing immediate feedback on pronunciation errors.
The app then displays the correct pronunciation of each word, with the phonetic transcription presented in an easy-to-understand way so users can improve on their next attempt. This feature is similar to how Duolingo handles pronunciation feedback in their language learning app.
Google Translate is becoming increasingly useful.
Pronunciation practice is just one of many useful updates Google Translate has recently made. The app has also added the ability to decode idioms and local slang, helping to translate phrases like "raining heavily" literally rather than word-for-word. Additionally, iPhone users now have access to Live Translation via headphones, a feature previously only available on Android.
With the addition of pronunciation practice features, Google Translate is gradually establishing itself as one of the best language learning apps available today.
