According to the plan, throughout the duration of DIFF 2025, the Border Guard Command of Da Nang city will mobilize 6 ships, 20 boats and canoes with more than 300 officers and soldiers deployed throughout the Han River area. Working teams and units will be strategically positioned along key routes, maintaining a 24/7 duty schedule, ready to effectively handle any arising situations, ensuring absolute safety of personnel, vehicles, weapons, and equipment, and participating in rescue operations when required.

Lieutenant Colonel Le Van Tung, Deputy Chief of Staff of the City Border Guard, said that task forces are deploying to closely monitor and supervise boat activities in the area during the fireworks display. The City Border Guard is organizing patrols by speedboat along the Han River and the coast, ensuring that no situation affects the festival area. At the same time, there is close coordination between the Border Guard and the police, coast guard, and navy. Border Guard forces are on duty 24/7 in the vicinity of the fireworks viewing area, the boat mooring area, and the floating restaurants on the Han River.

Tasked by the City People's Committee with leading the protection of the Han River water area, the City Border Guard Command developed a detailed plan to coordinate with functional forces to survey and manage waterway traffic, creating an absolutely safe zone for the fireworks displays. With DIFF 2025 attracting a large number of domestic and international tourists, the City Border Guard Command is strictly and proactively implementing safety control measures on waterways, especially tourist boats on the Han River.

On each tourist boat serving spectators watching the fireworks display, border guards are present to strictly control the number of passengers boarding. Not allowing boats to carry more people than the permitted capacity is a mandatory requirement, clearly emphasized to prevent risks. Border guards inspect life-saving equipment, life jackets, fire-fighting equipment, etc., before allowing the boat to leave the dock.

Border guards directly guided tourist boats to anchor in the correct positions according to the agreed-upon traffic flow plan, avoiding overcrowding in one area which could compromise safety and obstruct visibility during the fireworks display. At locations such as Thuan Phuoc Bridge, Dragon Bridge, Tran Hung Dao Street, Bach Dang Street, Nhu Nguyet Street, etc., border guards coordinated with police and military forces to set up checkpoints, regulate traffic, guide tourists, and ensure security and order.

A new feature in the DIFF 2025 safety plan is that the city's Border Guard Force will equip patrol boats with high-capacity pumps to serve firefighting efforts on the river. At the same time, the Border Guard Force will coordinate with the 115 Emergency Center, deploying border guard medical teams and doctors on duty on patrol boats and checkpoints, ready to provide first aid and immediate medical support to residents and tourists in case of unexpected situations.

Colonel Tran Cong Thanh, Commander of the City Border Guard, said that since the beginning of May, the Border Guard Command has been developing a specialized plan, implementing comprehensive operational measures, and mobilizing maximum manpower and resources to be ready for the 2025 DIFF season in a proactive and decisive manner in all plans, determined to prevent any mistakes that could affect the success of the festival.

It is evident that, amidst the vibrant atmosphere of DIFF 2025, as tens of thousands of people watched the spectacular fireworks displays of international teams competing on the Han River, the presence of soldiers in green uniforms, along with other forces, has contributed to the success of the festival, enhancing the status and prestige of Da Nang , and leaving many positive impressions on tourists.
