The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Trung Hung commune organized a ceremony to hand over a charitable house to the family of Mr. Tran Thanh Mong.

The handover ceremony for the charitable house donated to Mr. Tran Thanh Mong's family in Thanh Loi hamlet took place in a warm atmosphere. Representatives from the local government, the Fatherland Front, the Social Charity Organization, and neighbors came to share in the joy and congratulate Mr. Mong's family on having a stable place to live, providing a foundation for them to continue striving in life. Mr. and Mrs. Mong do not own any land for farming and mainly work as laborers; their children are still of school age. In March 2026, the Fatherland Front Committee of Trung Hung commune mobilized resources and supported the family in building a house worth 45 million VND.

Mr. Mong confided: "My circumstances are very difficult, so I often receive priority support from the local authorities in the form of gifts during holidays and Tet (Lunar New Year). Now, my family has received financial and labor support from the local authorities to build a charitable house; the Farmers' Association of the commune has helped prepare the application to borrow capital from the Social Policy Bank to invest in a clean water supply for daily use, and I am very happy."

The socio- political organizations in Trung Hung commune have effectively managed the loan groups of the Social Policy Bank, helping many families access preferential loans to develop production and business; at the same time, they have built many economic models to attract members to participate. Among them, the garment processing group established by the Women's Union of the commune in 2021 has been very effective, providing employment for 11 female members. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Kieu, a member of the garment processing group, said: “With the encouragement and support of the Women's Union officials, I have been participating in the garment group for more than 4 years. Currently, I earn about 5 million VND per month. Thanks to that, my family's economy is gradually stabilizing.”

The Women's Union of the commune currently maintains and improves 6 cooperative groups for weaving and assembling fishing nets, with each member earning approximately 6 million VND per month. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Hoa from the Thanh Phu 2 hamlet branch said: “Before, I was a housewife. In 2024, I learned the craft and joined the fishing net weaving and assembling program. This work has helped me earn a stable income of over 6 million VND per month.”

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Tao, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Trung Hung commune, in 2025 and the first three months of 2026, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and political and social organizations of the commune will coordinate in mobilizing support for the construction and repair of 20 solidarity and charity houses with a total value of over 1.2 billion VND; build a new traffic bridge worth 500 million VND; and clear vegetation and clean the environment along roads with a total length of over 9.5 km. In particular, to celebrate the Party and the Spring Festival of 2026 and to welcome the success of the 14th National Congress of the Party, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune will coordinate in upgrading the 2.5 km long Sa Mau road, with a total value of over 261 million VND (of which the State will support asphalt paving, worth 128 million VND); and coordinate in repairing roads in Thanh Loi 2 and Thanh Hung 2 hamlets, with a total cost of 83 million VND...

The practical activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and political and social organizations in Trung Hung commune have contributed to improving the criteria for new rural areas, gradually raising the material and spiritual lives of the people. Ms. Nguyen Thi Tao informed: “In 2025, the commune supported two households to escape poverty. In 2026, after review, the commune still has three poor households. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune will continue to coordinate with political and social organizations to implement many solutions to support families in improving their lives, such as: mobilizing resources for building and repairing houses; supporting preferential loans; building economic development models; and creating jobs. In addition, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and political and social organizations of the commune will continue to mobilize resources to upgrade transportation infrastructure associated with building bright, green, clean, beautiful, and safe roads…”.
