The aforementioned results forced the three golfers to compete in a play-off round before Grayson Murray won the championship.
Meanwhile, two golfers, Russell Henley (USA) and Yuan Yechun (China), are tied for 4th place. Each of them has a total score of -16 strokes.
In contrast to the strong performances of the top-ranked golfers, reigning Olympic silver medalist Hideki Matsuyama (Japan) finished in T30 with a total score of -9 strokes.
