Ha Nam province holds by-election for additional members of the Provincial People's Committee.

Kinhtedothi - At the special session, the People's Council of Ha Nam province elected Mr. Pham Hong Son, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, as an additional member of the Provincial People's Committee for the 19th term, 2021-2026.

On the morning of November 8th, the People's Council of Ha Nam province held its 20th session (a specialized session) to consider and approve several matters within its authority. At the session, the People's Council of Ha Nam province proceeded with the procedure to relieve Mr. Le Hoang Thuyen, former Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, from his duties as a member of the 19th term of the Provincial People's Council and to dismiss him from his position as a member of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term (due to retirement).

The People's Council of Ha Nam province also unanimously agreed to consolidate and elect additional members to the Provincial People's Committee for the 19th term, 2021-2026.

With a majority of votes, Mr. Pham Hong Son, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Ha Nam province, was elected as a member of the Provincial People's Committee for the 19th term, 2021-2026.

Also at the session, delegates discussed, considered, and adopted 30 important resolutions within their authority.

In her closing remarks at the session, Ms. Le Thi Thuy, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council of Ha Nam province, stated that the newly adopted resolutions provide a legal basis for socio- economic development, national defense, and security, contributing to improving the lives of the people in the province. Ms. Le Thi Thuy requested that after the session, the Provincial People's Committee, all levels, sectors, and localities focus on effectively implementing the tasks outlined.
