The land area of over 7.5 hectares has been cleared and is planned for the Him Lam social housing project.
The social housing project will be developed on 5 plots of land with a total area of nearly 4.7 hectares. The investor will be exempt from land use fees for this area. The project also allocates more than 1.5 hectares for building a school and 1.3 hectares for transportation infrastructure, green spaces, and technical infrastructure.
Him Lam Company must put the land into use within 12 months; if they fall behind schedule, they will be granted an extension of up to 24 months.
The People's Committee of Phuc Loi Ward and the investor need to expedite the land clearance process for the remaining nearly 5.9 hectares within the project's scope in the first quarter of 2026 to complete the application for the second phase of land allocation.
In the Long Bien area, the joint venture between Him Lam Thu Do Joint Stock Company and BIC Vietnam Joint Stock Company recently launched the Rice City Long Chau project in Bo De ward. With a price of nearly 30 million VND per square meter, this project has the highest selling price in Hanoi to date.
According to the plan to develop at least 1 million social housing units, Hanoi has been assigned to build 56,200 units by the end of 2030 - among the highest in the country. This year alone, the capital city needs to complete 4,670 units.
According to the Department of Construction, the city currently has one completed project with approximately 1,340 apartments and five projects eligible to be offered to the market (4,635 units). Cumulatively for the period 2021-2025, the city has 16 projects eligible for sale with over 17,300 units.
