The Hanoi People's Committee requested the Department of Culture and Sports to announce this additional list and hand over the data to districts, towns and cities to receive, manage, protect and promote the value of the relics.

At the same time, the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports will periodically synthesize data on changes (increases and decreases) of relics, conduct reviews every 5 years to submit to the City People's Committee to adjust and supplement the inventory list of relics.

The People's Committees of districts, towns and cities will be responsible for managing the relics on the supplementary list in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Cultural Heritage and related legal documents.

The preservation and promotion of relic values will be carried out strictly to preserve the cultural, historical and artistic values of Hanoi.

Previously, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Vu Thu Ha signed and issued Plan No. 294/KH-UBND dated October 11, 2024 on the work of preserving and promoting the cultural heritage values of Hanoi until 2025 and the following years.

This plan focuses on planning the preservation, restoration and rehabilitation of special national relics, national relic clusters, and city-level relics, creating a heritage complex with close geographical, historical and cultural links.

In addition, the city also focuses on implementing projects to upgrade the Hanoi Museum's display system, apply information technology to heritage conservation, train specialized human resources in heritage culture, as well as promote propaganda and promotion to attract tourists and the community interested in preserving and promoting heritage values.
