The Organizing Committee of the Rally, Parade, and March to Celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 (A80) has requested departments, branches, local authorities, and businesses in Hanoi to arrange 12 locations, 12 university campuses, and 68 licensed roadside locations to keep vehicles, to support people in gathering vehicles, facilitating movement, and monitoring activities such as general training, preliminary rehearsal, general rehearsal, celebration, parade, march, fireworks display, etc. to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.
Specifically, each area is as follows:
The depot area of the Nhon-Hanoi railway station (in Nhon) is arranged for passenger vans with 30 seats or more to park along internal roads (expected to accommodate about 100 45-seat vans).
The parking lot of Hanoi Transport Corporation at Nhon station accommodates cars, motorbikes, and bicycles (about 700 cars).
The land of Hanoi Parking Lot Exploitation One Member Co., Ltd. (adjacent to Industrial University) is used for parking motorbikes and bicycles.
Land at Nhon bus transfer location is arranged for parking motorbikes and bicycles.
Dual carriageway 70 (section from Trinh Van Bo street to street 32) is arranged for passenger cars and small cars (about 300 small cars).
Roads on Quan Hoa, Nguyen Van Huyen, Tran Quy Kien, Tran Thai Tong, Thanh Thai, Duy Tan, Duong Dinh Nghe, Ton That Thuyet, Nguyen Chanh, Trung Hoa, Vu Pham Ham, Tran Kim Xuyen, Mac Thai To, Mac Thai Tong, Tran Quoc Hoan, Ham Nghi, Ha Yen Quyet streets... are arranged for cars (about 500 cars).
Parking lots in the campus of the National University, University of Education, and University of Transport serve parking for cars, motorbikes, and bicycles.
Yen Nghia Bus Station has space for passenger cars and small cars (about 150 45-seat cars).
The Phu Luong depot area of the Nhon-Hanoi railway station urban railway is arranged for passenger cars to park along internal roads (expected to accommodate about 100 45-seat cars).
Roadway of Nguyen Khuyen street, 19/5 street, Ha Dong ward accommodates cars (35 cars).
The campus of Le Hong Phong Cadre Training School (Lang Street); the campus of the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology, Hanoi University, University of Natural Sciences , University of Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Water Resources, and Trade Union University arrange parking for cars, motorbikes, and bicycles.
The vacant lot near Thang Long Tobacco Company on Nguyen Trai Street is used to park passenger cars (about 200 45-seat cars).
The roadway of Ring Road 2.5 from Kim Dong to Den Lu is equipped with parking for passenger cars and small cars in both directions (about 400 cars).
The roadsides of Kim Nguu, Thanh Nhan, Tran Dai Nghia, Pho Vong, Nam Son, Linh Duong, Dam Phuong... are arranged for parking cars (about 300 cars).
The campus of National Economics University and University of Construction has parking for cars, motorbikes and bicycles.
The area north of Nhat Tan bridge, the roadways of Minh Tao, Nguyen Xuan Khoat, Xuan Tao streets (from Hoang Minh Thao to Nguyen Xuan Khoat) are licensed by the Department of Construction to keep cars.
The area north of Chuong Duong bridge, Hong Tien and Nguyen Gia Bong streets, has parking for cars (about 550 cars).
Phu Huu and Hoang Nhu Tiep streets have parking for cars (35 cars).
The area east of Vinh Tuy bridge, Dam Quang Trung street, and vacant land near Dam Quang Trung street are used for parking passenger vans and cars (about 200 cars and 200 45-seat cars).
Previously, the Hanoi People's Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 4671/UBND-DT requesting agencies, units, and local authorities to arrange space and vehicles for delegates to serve the ceremony, parade, and march of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
The city requested the Hanoi Museum, the Thang Long-Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center, the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace, etc. to arrange human resources and the entire parking lot in the campus to gather vehicles to pick up and drop off delegates attending A80 activities.
