TPO - A video clip quickly went viral on social media showing a student pulling a teacher's hair, pushing her head down on the desk several times, and then pushing her to the ground in the classroom.

The video , which lasts more than 2 minutes, shows a teacher standing in class, being pulled back by her hair and pushed down on the desk by a student. The student pushes her head down on the desk several times and holds it for a long time before pushing her to the ground.

The incident is said to have occurred at Dai Kim Secondary School ( Hanoi ).

This afternoon (September 19), Tien Phong reporter contacted the People's Committee of Dinh Cong Ward, the school management agency in the area to confirm the incident.

According to the People's Committee of this Ward, the incident happened at around 3:15 p.m. on September 16 in class 7A14.

It was almost break time at school, the homeroom teacher entered the classroom to remind the students.

While Ms. H. was giving instructions, she saw TML, the class monitor, holding a sharp toy, so she asked the student to give it to the teacher. The teacher announced that she would confiscate the toy because it was a dangerous item that was prohibited by school regulations.

Hearing that, the LGB student sitting at the front desk stood up and demanded the item the teacher confiscated back. When Ms. H. firmly refused to return it, the LGB student immediately pulled the teacher's hair back and pressed her head down on the desk.

According to the report sent by Dai Kim Secondary School to the management agency, when the incident happened, the class monitor tried to stop student B. but failed. On the other hand, he reminded the whole class to draw the curtains so that students in the hallway would not witness the incident.

After teacher H. left the classroom, she reported it to the school's Board of Directors. The school asked the student who had acted disrespectfully to apologize to the teacher and write a report of the incident.

Immediately after that, the school invited GB’s parents to come to school to report the incident. The student’s father apologized to the teacher and asked for permission for his child to be absent from school on September 17 to get a mental health check.

The school encouraged the teacher

Dai Kim Secondary School informed that after the incident, on the afternoon of September 18, the school's Vice Principal and homeroom teacher worked with B.'s family to resolve the matter.

Regarding the solution, the school invited the homeroom teacher to propose a disciplinary measure appropriate to the student's level of violation.

The family presented their situation and their wish to take their child home for 10 days of education so that he could change himself. The homeroom teacher agreed with the family's request.

The school board also encouraged teachers and learned from their experiences in dealing with students who violated discipline, and reminded all students to absolutely not bring dangerous objects to school. When making mistakes, they must learn from their mistakes and have a proper and progressive attitude towards teachers.

A representative of the People's Committee of Dinh Cong Ward said that immediately after the incident, the unit worked with the school to grasp the situation. The ward directed the police to verify and clarify the related incident.
