Hanoi organizes Photo Hanoi'25 event - International Photography Biennale

Hanoi City People's Committee has just issued Plan No. 258/KH-UBND to organize the event Photo Hanoi'25 - International Photography Biennale.

The plan aims to build the event 'Photo Hanoi' - International Photography Biennale into a typical cultural and artistic event of the Capital with international and regional stature, held every 2 years.

The event highlighted the important role of the creative cultural industry in the socio -economic development of the capital. It demonstrated Hanoi's strong commitment to implementing cultural initiatives and projects within the framework of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network through organizing events associated with diversifying forms of artistic creativity; promoting international cooperation and cultural integration between Hanoi and countries in the region and the world.

The event is expected to take place from November 1 to 30, 2025 at locations managed by the Department of Culture and Sports , Hoan Kiem Ward People's Committee, and Cua Nam Ward People's Committee, such as: Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam National Special Relic Site; Exhibition House No. 45 Trang Tien Street; Exhibition House No. 61 - 63 Trang Tien Street; Exhibition House No. 93 Dinh Tien Hoang Street; Center for Culture and Arts, No. 22 Hang Buom Street; Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, 40 Lan Ong Street; Hoan Kiem Lake Information and Culture Center, No. 2 Le Thai To Street; Area around Hoan Kiem Lake; Dien Hong Flower Garden (Toad Flower Garden); Ancient French Villa, No. 49 Tran Hung Dao - 46 Hang Bai...

The Department of Culture and Sports is assigned as the standing agency, presiding over and coordinating with the French Embassy, ​​the French Institute in Vietnam and relevant organizations, agencies, units and individuals to implement. Preside over the organization of communication, information, propaganda, promotion and introduction of the Photo Hanoi'25 - International Photography Biennale event in many forms; preside over and be responsible for funding the organization of activities within the framework of the Photo Hanoi'25 - International Photography Biennale event; coordinate with the French Institute in Vietnam to connect organizations, agencies, units and individuals operating in the field of artistic creation.
