The set of documents includes 14 books, integrating knowledge from three fields: cultivation, animal husbandry and aquaculture, closely following the practices of 7 agro-ecological zones across the country. The content is easy to understand, illustrated with pictures and real-life examples, suitable for both lecturers and people in remote areas.

In particular, the document also supports training and coaching from central to local levels, from technical staff to direct producers. Not only a technical manual, the document also aims to change thinking from passive to proactive in responding to natural disasters.

Instead of "running after" to overcome the consequences, farmers will be equipped with knowledge to forecast, prevent and minimize risks from the beginning, contributing to stabilizing and quickly recovering production after natural disasters.

According to Mr. Le Quoc Thanh - Director of the National Agricultural Extension Center, the new point of the document set is that it does not only stop at traditional printed publications, but is also digitized and integrated on many platforms such as: website, QR code, radio and television.

The documents are also translated into a number of ethnic languages to expand accessibility, especially in mountainous areas and ethnic minority areas.

In emergency situations such as storms, floods, droughts or landslides, the document can be flexibly shortened, focusing on specific handling instructions for each type of natural disaster. This is considered an “on-site technical manual”, helping farmers strengthen their confidence and be more proactive in the process of restoring production.
